Overview

ProtoFix Manufacturing Inc. ("ProtoFix", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit protofix.ca or submit a form, how we use it, and the choices you have. This site is operated from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and is governed by Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Information we collect

When you submit a quote request, contact form, inspector application or partner application, we collect the information you provide directly: name, company, email, phone, project details, and any files you choose to upload (e.g. CAD files, résumés).

We also collect standard analytics data automatically when you browse the site — pages viewed, approximate location (city/region level), traffic source, device type and on-site actions — via Google Analytics 4, described below.

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site and to measure the performance of our pages and forms. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors and record events such as page views and form submissions.

Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can decline analytics cookies at any time, and your choice is remembered on this device. Declining does not affect your ability to use the site or submit forms.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your quote request or message, evaluate applications, and — where you've consented — to send you relevant follow-up about your inquiry. We use aggregated analytics data to improve site content, page performance and our services.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with vetted manufacturing or inspection partners directly involved in fulfilling your request, and with service providers (such as Google Analytics) who process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Data retention

We retain quote, contact and application records for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain business records, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.
